Hey all! This CurlyBae has been slept on for years but 2017 is her year! I would like to introduce you to Shamekua Niles! This girl is unstoppable!
Shamekua’s most beautiful traits are her dazzling smiles, pair with dimples. A smile so big that her eyes closes every time. Her beautiful golden skin complements her soft, wavy hair. Hair that is so manageable, she tries not to use too many products. She moisturizes with coconut oil which is her go to product. And her go to style is preferably straight. She admits that straightening her hair has damaged her naturally wavy hair in the past but she has resurrected it back to health with adding more conditioner to her regimen.
After leaving the beautiful island of St.Thomas as a teenager, she began to pursue her career in singing. She was in an all girl group based in Atlanta called TRIO. The group worked diligently for a rise to fame.
They eventually broke up as the girls decided to further other endeavors. Shamekua shortly after birthed two beautiful children. She worked hard! She went to school during the day, and worked nights. She still managed to balance her single mom life, school, work, her singing career, and modeling career. Did I fail to mention she is a writer as well?
With her new degree in dental assistance, this golden beauty proves she is more than just a pretty face. The only problem with being so beautiful inside and out is that other people are not able to look past her beauty. She is extremely kind-hearted and have sacrificed her well being at times to ensure everyone, including strangers, won’t have to struggle.
With all of her adversities Shamekua was still WINNING! She signed a major contract with an entertainment agency which would have catapulted her career into unfathomable heights. Unfortunately, that all came to a horrific halt.
On January 4th, 2017, she was on her way home from work when a car slammed into the back of her car. It was a hit and run. She was rushed to the emergency room instantly. When she woke up, she learned that she had to go into emergency surgery. She had broken her back in 3 places and was lucky to still be alive! Her family has started a go fund me account to pay for the damages.
She is currently recovering and picking up where she left off. She is using this time to strategize and re-evaluate her career. All she wants is for her family to be happy and stable and to have great health. She views this accident as a gift from God. She believes that her life could have been taken away, and instead she was given another chance to show the world how amazing she is! She has also gained a new life lesson. She has learned gratitude.
Always looking at the glass half full, let me introduce you to Shamekua Niles!
